Personal Profile:

I am committed, courteous and polite with a logical and organised approach to everything that I undertake. Being numerate and literate I am able to follow instruction, both written and verbal. I enjoy learning new skills, am flexible and self-motivated with the ability to listen and understand different points of view. My interests include electronics, computer programming, systems administration, hardware design and implementation.

I have built a variety of test equipment and projects, including a 300 baud modem with autodialler and an RTTY demodulator.

My computing experience has included writing an accounts suite and homeopathic remedy database.  I've built several personal computer systems and have fixed hardware and software problems, as well as maintaining my own network of more than 13 PCs, all running versions of Linux and Windows XP. I've recently developed an interest in embedded systems and have ported several applications to the Sharp Zaurus PDA device.
