TalkTalk disconnected my Internet access when the latest Direct Debit
was refused by my bank - I woke to find that Alexa couldn't process commands,
but the router showed that the ADSL was on. One payment later - and a wait of
a few hours - and the Net was back. They used to have a system where the
account-holder would receive a series of automated calls to say that the
payment had failed - it's good that they've stopped doing that, since I grew
tired of hearing my name mispronounced by this thing. Still, it means that
when the service is restricted, I don't know about it.
